Water and soap were flowing (and spraying) at the Marcellus Senior High School front driveway on Saturday, September 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as members of the Class of 2012 held the annual Senior Class Car Wash. More than 100 cars received the royal “soaping, rinsing, and drying” treatment during this traditional senior class fundraiser. School spirit and excitement were present everywhere, along with a little good natured high jinks, as various washing teams cleaned each car. Funds raised from the event support a variety of senior class activities throughout the school year. Among the Class of 2012 members participating in the event were: Rebecca Nolan, Jayna Betancourt, Baillie Vensel, Taylor Rescignano, Austin Quinlan, Krissy Boyle, Heather Hanlon, Megan Colle, Alanna Todd, Jordan Markham, Sarah Kelly, Claire, Sears, Leda Brittenham, Gianna Romano, Kyle Jankowski, Tabby McBride, Sean Dunn, Garrett DeMies, Matt Tice, Katlyn Wilkinson, Keenan Vaughn, Zach Dillon, Alec Mosher, Katie O'Connell, Chad Johnson, Angela Gonella, Kyle Hastings, Danielle Leach, Emily Carroll, McChesney Matro, Dalton Wenzel, Taylor Vile, Jessica Osborne, Haliegh O'Sullivan, Joe Masterpol, Erin Driscoll, Gordan Mason, Emma Czerniak, Caroline Villa, Nicole Fletcher, Phil Zdanowski, Nick Sinay, Mike Welsh, and Erica Smith.
The Senior Class Spaghetti Dinner was held on Saturday October 22 from 4-8pm in the High School Cafeteria. Student workers included: Megan Colle, Austin Quinlan, Rebecca Nolan, Caroline Villa, Grace Carlik, Karina Wagner, Kevin Gates, Heather Masters, Dan Martin, Gail Canne, Krissy Boyle, Jordan Markham, Baillie Vensel, Corrine Wheatley,Beth Abbott, Phil Zdanowski, Donald Gooden, Matthew Tice, Sean Dunn, Colleen Stapleton, Gianna Romano, Ryan Bonk, Claire Sears, Keenan Vaughn, Katlyn Wilkinson, Garett DeMies, Faith Seeley, Chad Johnson, Dani Felty, Taylor Rescignano, McChesney Matro, Caroline Villa, Angela Gonella, Nicole Fletcher, Alanna Todd, Joey Masterpol, Taylor Vile, Mike Welsh, Shane Carey, Jessica Eddicus, Erica Smith, Emma Czerniak, Angela Gonella, Emily Carroll, Sarah Francesconi, Kelsey Nowak, Maddie Balmor, and Grace Bolewski. Many patrons of the spaghetti dinner then attended either the Fall Drama Production (featuring “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”) in the Groeling High School Auditorium or the Boy’s Varsity Soccer Senior Night game won in come from behind fashion by the Mustangs (3 – 2) over Cazenovia.
