Mark your calendars: Kindergarten registration is March 27-28

Kindergarten registration in the Marcellus Central School District will be held for all eligible children at K.C. Heffernan Elementary School on Thursday, March 27, and Friday, March 28. Registration times will be 9:15 a.m. to noon, and 1 to 4 p.m. both days.

To be eligible, a child must reach his/her fifth birthday by Dec. 1, 2014.

In late February, registration forms and other important information will be sent to parents of all eligible children whose names appear on the district enrollment list. When they register, parents must bring their incoming kindergarten student, a birth certificate and doctor’s certificate of immunizations. If you do not already have children in the district, you will also need to bring both a primary and a secondary proof of residency.

An orientation meeting for parents only is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. April 2 in the KCH gymnasium.

To add your child to our district enrollment list, please contact the district’s registrar, Sue Larison, at slarison@marcellusschools.org. Please provide the child’s full name, parents’ names, phone number and child’s date of birth, address and gender. Also, please provide the full names and dates of birth for any younger siblings.
