Junior High Area All State Music Festival Fall 2010

The Marcellus Central School District was well represented at the Junior High Area All State Music Festival in Cortland on November 5th and 6th. Adina Martin participated in the All State Music Festival Treble Choir. Members of the All State Music Festival Band included Mary Morocco on flute; Rachel Ceparski and Kristin Field on clarinet; Geoffrey Golick on tenor sax; Roxana Novak on first trumpet; Matt Corcoran, Evan Turner, and Noelle Cotter also on trumpet; Jeff Beyel on trombone; Dylan Felty on euphonium; Kevin Pierce on percussion; and Mike Abbott playing timpani. These students were selected based on the level of their NYSSMA solos and their scores from last spring. Students from a six county area participated in the festival.
