Marcellus Senior High School Drama Club to Stage “Cold Comfort Farm”

The Marcellus Senior High School Drama Club will be presenting its fall drama production “Cold Comfort Farm”, November 19th and 20th in the Groeling Auditorium. The performances will be directed by Marcellus Senior High School English teacher/drama club faculty advisor David Weaver and will take place at 7:30 PM. “Cold Comfort Farm” is a comic satire of rural English farm life based on a novel by Stella Gibbons and adapted for stage by Malcolm Bradbury. More than forty Marcellus Senior High School students are involved in the production whose lead characters include student actors Megan Grosholz, Anthony Delia, Ben Powers, Sophia Beratta, Eddie Powers, Derrick Cosco, Ian Bechteler, Angela Pugliese, Nick DeBartolomeo, Holly Grosholz, and Joe Isgar. Overall, the play is a “zany satire with a cheerful ending that leaves a few lingering, ironic questions for the audience to ponder.” The performance of “Cold Comfort Farm” is the first theatrical performance in the newly renovated Groeling Auditorium. All are invited to attend this entertaining event which will be staged as follows:

Thursday, November 18th 7:00 p.m.
Friday, November 19th 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 20th 2:30 p.m.
