Amid the ambiance of a fine Italian restaurant, complete with candlelit tables and the aroma of marinara sauce, the Marcellus Senior High School Class of 2011 held the annual Senior Class Spaghetti Dinner on October 23rd. The traditional event was held in the high school cafeteria and the fine Italian menu included spaghetti, meatballs, tomato sauce, salad bar, dessert cart, and beverages. Community members attending the event were greeted by senior class waiters/waitresses attired in formal black and white. The fine Italian eatery was complete with checkerboard table cloths and the aroma of Italian spices and freshly cooked sauce. Those attending the event also had the opportunity to purchase tickets for a raffle that included prizes donated and/or sponsored by The Chocolate Pizza Company, Wegman’s Fairmount, the Marietta House (Donavan family), Zumba Dance, Main Street Pharmacy, Reagan Insurance, The Florist at One North Street, Marcellus Pizza, Nightingale Mills, Ultimate Goal, and Nojaim’s. Proceeds from the traditional spaghetti dinner event are used to support senior class and graduation activities.
