All are invited to join in the fun and entertainment as more than 100 talented Marcellus Senior High School students participate as cast and crew in the 2010 Marcellus Central School District All School Show, “The Pajama Game”. This year’s spring musical production is directed by Kevin Shumway and assisted by vocal director Brian Ackles, orchestral director Michael Cirmo, technical director Terry Hoey, and costume director Barbara Toman. The Tony award winning musical “The Pajama Game” is based on the novel 7 ½ Cents by Richard Bissell. The story “deals with the labor troubles in a pajama factory, where worker demands for a 7-1/2 cent raise are going unheeded. In the midst of this ordeal, love blossoms between Babe, the grievance committee head and Sid, the new factory superintendent.” Musical numbers include “Racing with the Clock”, “Hey There”, “Small Talk”, “Steam Heat”, “Hernando’s Hideaway”, and “The Pajama Game”. Lead actors Eddie Powers as Sid, Kelly Ryan as Babe, Dan Poorman as Hines, Mary Perry as Gladys, and Kaitlyn Colle as Mabel head a talented cast of seventy plus (70+) students. This year’s production will be held in the Driver Middle School Aitchison Auditorium due to the ongoing renovation of the high school’s Groeling Auditorium. Once again all are invited to attend “The Pajama Game” which will be staged as follows:
