Special recognition goes out to eleven Driver Middle School National Junior Honor Society students who volunteered at the Winter Special Olympics held on Saturday, February 6th, in Syracuse. The service learning experience was organized by National Junior Honor Society faculty adviser Colleen Mahoney. The hard working junior honor society members did everything from the setting up and breaking down of sports venues, to the distribution of lunches, to just being “fans” in the stands cheering the remarkable special Olympian athletes.
