Marcellus Sports Booster Club News

1. Outlined below are a few reminders from the Marcellus Sports Booster Club provided by Karen Cotter, Marcellus Booster Club president:
   
   1. Applications for a Marcellus Sports Booster Club Scholarship, with all the information, will be available in the Marcellus Senior High School guidance department office on April 26 and all paper work must be completed and submitted NO LATER than May 21. Please encourage your child to apply for a booster club scholarship.
   
   2. The Varsity Sports Banquet will be held on Tuesday, June 8. The booster club is making some changes this year. The award ceremony will be held in the newly renovated high school auditorium starting at 7:00 p.m. There will be desserts and drinks available after the ceremony outside by the concession stand or in the gym – depending on the weather. There will be no charge for any of the athletes or family that are attending. All are invited to come and recognize our varsity athletes – especially the seniors one last time.
   
   3. The Marcellus Sports Booster Club Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, June 13 at Sunset Ridge. Anyone interested in sponsoring a hole, making a donation or would like to play please contact Linda Kelly at 673-2720. Make your reservations early!!
   
   The booster club meets the 2nd Monday of the month in the high school library and we are always looking for new members. There will be some openings for Board Members if anyone is interested.
   
   The Marcellus Sports Booster Club would like to thank all the people who have supported the club throughout another great year. Whether you worked the concession stand, bought a lottery ticket or had a fish dinner at the Doug’s Fish Fry fundraiser we want to say THANK YOU - Your support is very much appreciated.
